CHURCHGOERS staged 24 hours of activities in aid of their building fund.
Young and old joined in to help out at Lindley Methodist Church.
Uniformed groups began the event with skipping and parachute games.
The C Cubed youth group kept going through the night, with table tennis, keep-fit videos, badminton, dancing, hockey and volleyball. They finished with bacon butties at 7am.
A total of £1m is needed to pay for church improvements and community facilities.
Fundraisers have already got £220,000 under their belts.
The 24 hours of sponsored activities was the idea of Helen Brown, a member of the church's youth group.
A keep-fit class and armchair exercisers flexed their muscles to do their bit for the fund.
The church walking group held a six- mile circular walk in the Wessenden Valley above Marsden, returning via Black Moss. Members are seen near Butterley Reservoir.
The event was rounded off in the afternoon with junior church members doing team games and the minister, the Rev Rob Hilton, re-discovered his childhood love of skipping.
