A BOY of 14 had his motorbike stolen while riding off-road.

The boy, from Wakefield, was on his green 125cc Kawasaki KDX in the quarry off Ben Booth Lane in Grange Moor when three older teenagers on two other bikes approached him at 2.15pm on Sunday.

One asked for a go on his bike, but when he refused the passenger got off one of the other bikes, pushed the youngster off his machine, then rode off on it.

The bike's number is K544 SRH.

All three in the gang are white.

The thief is about 19 and 5ft 10in tall. He wore black, white and red Fox professional motorcycle leathers.

One of his accomplices is about 16, with a shaved head. He wore a blue hooded top with a white stripe on the back and blue jeans.

The other in the group is slightly older and with spiky hair. He wore a lime-green hooded top with a picture motif on the front and Rigger boots.

Anyone who knows who they are should phone Det Sgt Dave Campbell at Huddersfield CID on 01484 436582.
