A DENTAL clinic in Huddersfield has received its third national award nomination in less than a year.
Gencare Dental Clinic, in St George’s Square, has been shortlisted for the best practice design and interior in The Dental Awards 2009.
Since October last year, the clinic has also been nominated for the most innovative practice award in the Private Dentistry Awards 2008 and best practice and best young dentist in the Dentistry Awards 2008.
The clinic also joins 13 others under the Genix Healthcare banner to be nominated for the best National Smile Month event in The Dental Awards.
The clinic treats both NHS and private patients.
Gencare Dental Clinic invested £300,000 in transforming the grade II listed building in St George’s Square into a state-of-the-art clinic with features including “smile” consultation rooms, a recovery room with a bed and surgeries equipped with the latest technology.
There is also a relaxing reception area with comfortable leather sofas, plasma TVs, soothing music, soft spotlighting and refreshments.
Genix Healthcare will find out how the clinic has done at the award ceremony next Friday at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.
