After the votes have been cast in the 2015 General Election, count staff will work through the night to verify and count the ballots.

The process will begin at 10pm, once the polls have closed, with the first results in the UK expected at around 11pm.

The Huddersfield results are expected to be announced around 4.30am.

If a recount is requested, the result will be delayed.
