KIRKLEES countryside volunteers have arranged walks and events in the Huddersfield area.
They are:
* Sunday, March 13: Practical Task: dry stone walling. Meet at 9.30am in Mirfield Library's car park in Station Road.
* Sunday, March 13: Four-mile medium family walk. Meet at 1.10pm at the Holmfirth Road car park in New Mill.
* Saturday, March 19: Ten-mile medium/hard walk. Meet at 10am opposite the Swan on New Hey Road (A640) at Outlane.
* Sunday, March 20: Pathfinder Day. Phone 01484 234076.
* Friday, March 25: Five-mile medium walk. Meet at 1.15pm at Upper Denby Church.
* Monday, March 28: Meet at 10am at the junction of Station Road and New Mill Road, Honley, for a 10-mile medium walk.
