A huge plane has been circling over West Yorkshire this afternoon.

People have been tweeting Leeds Bradford Airport asking what the plane is.

The plane was seen flying over Dewsbury, Bradford and Mirfield

There was speculation across social media that it could be an Antonov - a huge Ukrainian cargo plane.

The plane was seen flying over Dewsbury, Mirfield, Cleckheaton and Bradford with Facebook users saying it had circled overhead more than once.

Some people said the plane looked more like an RAF c-17.

Kieran King shared a picture on Facebook saying: "Just to let everyone know, another RAF A400 is on its way in to do approach and go-around training. So cameras at the ready!"

Leeds Bradford Airport later confirmed what it was.
