POLICE investigating a barn blaze which caused more than £10,000 damage have arrested a 14-year-old girl.

The Holmfirth youngster was detained on Saturday morning and later released on bail.

A 13-year-old Scholes boy had already been arrested and released on bail.

The blaze broke out at Totties Farm, St George's Road, Scholes, at 4.15pm last Tuesday.

It gutted the barn and 250 bales of hay in it.

It took fire crews from Holmfirth and Skelmanthorpe six hours to put the blaze out.
