HIGHBURTON First School held a ball to raise money to complete its unfinished children’s assault course.
Teachers and parents donned their glad rags to attend the Glitter Ball at Bagden Hall Hotel in Scissett.
At the event, which was organised by the parent-teacher association, they were treated to a champagne reception and a meal.
Guests also enjoyed bidding for a variety of prizes in an auction and danced the night away to a band and DJ.
The event aimed to raise the remaining £2,000 needed to complete the assault course by next Easter.
The school has organised several fundraising events to raise money for the course, which will include swinging bridges and climbing frames.
So far, half of it has been completed.
