TEACHERS and pupils at Mirfield Free Grammar School are celebrating a glowing Ofsted report.
The report praises the school, in Kitson Hill Road, describing it as "a very good school with some excellent features".
More than 40% of the lessons reviewed by Ofsted inspectors gained a very good or excellent rating.
The report also praises discipline in the school, saying students behave very well and have very good attitudes to learning.
Headteacher Lorraine Barker said: "I became a headteacher to enable children to be the best they can be.
"Everyone here works hard to ensure that all students achieve success. This outstanding Ofsted report confirms that."
