CEILIDH band The Fusspots are to get Marsden's Cuckoo Festival off to a flying start.
The Marsden-based band will be providing the music in the Mechanics Hall on Friday, April 23, on the eve of the event.
The village's newly- formed majorette troupe will give a demonstration during the evening, which starts at 8pm.
The 11th festival includes lots of activities, including a duck race down the River Colne on the Saturday afternoon.
Cuckoo Day heralds the coming of spring.
Events during the day include craft stalls, children's entertainment, floats, tea dances and clog and morris dancing.
Tickets for the evening, which includes a supper, are on sale at the Mechanics Hall reception office for £5 (£2.50 concessions).
