A GOLCAR man is to be arrested after failing to show up at court to be sentenced for thefts.

James Friedl, of Marina Terrace, was due before magistrates in Huddersfield yesterday.

He had already been convicted for several thefts.

These included thefts from Tesco and Aldi on January 14 and January 24. On January 15 he made off from the Shell garage in Marsh without paying for fuel.

And he entered a Linthwaite garage with intent to steal.

The 30-year-old also failed to attend supervision appointments and keep in touch with a responsible officer.

Magistrates agreed to issue Friedl with a warrant not backed for bail.
