It's amazing what difference a few years can make in Huddersfield town centre.

Shops disappear, new businesses arrive, entire colleges and sport centres spring up and some sites even go to rack and ruin.

Google Maps' Streetview tool now has a feature that allows you to see how a location looked as far back as 2007 - and when compared to Streetview's most recent images - taken in August 2012 - you can see how much some parts of town have changed.

From the revamp of St George's Square to Springwood's new leisure centre and the former site of St Luke's Hospital, there's plenty of differences to spot.

Take a look at our gallery of familiar views around Huddersfield and see if you can spot the differences.

Have a look through Google Streetview and change the date at the top left hand corner to see the same view but from a different time.

Where have you spotted that looks very different? Let us know which sites have changed dramatically in recent years.
