BUDDING film makers are being offered a helping hand to develop their talent.

A three-week residential course is on offer, together with the opportunity to win £35,000 project funding at the end of it.

Huddersfield creative organisation Shortcircuits described it as an unmissable opportunity.

The search has been launched by Nesta, the lottery-funded National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts.

Winners who land places on the course will learn how to turn a business idea into a workable proposition.

Applicants must have graduated since May 2001.

Shortcircuits has been appointed to help people make applications.
