HUDDERSFIELD Grammar School has raised £2,500 for sick babies.
More than 230 staff, pupils and parents attended its fifth annual school ball at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top.
The black-tie event featured six casino tables offering roulette, poker and blackjack to coincide with the release of the new James Bond film Casino Royale.
A raffle and auction at the event raised funds for the Special Baby Care Unit at the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Organiser Alison Whitworth said: "We chose the unit because we like to give to a local charity. The event was designed to raise a bit of money for a good cause and also to help the parents meet-up together."
Lots on offer at the auction included a teeth-whitening session, remote control car and signed photo of Bradford Bulls star Paul Deacon. The raffle had prizes including cinema tickets, wine and hampers.
