PEOPLE in Huddersfield are being asked to support a race to raise cash for charity.

Workmates from chartered accountants Grant Thornton, which has offices in Dewsbury and Leeds, are running the London Marathon on April 25.

Anna Quinlan, John McLoughlin and Tim Lincoln will realise their life-long ambitions when they take on the 26-mile challenge.

They will be racing as their colleague Tom Barrow defies his fear of heights to sky dive from 15,000 feet.

The foursome are taking part in the events in aid of Sense, the national charity for deaf and blind people.

They follow their company’s tradition of gruelling challenges for the charity.

Tim said: “It feels brilliant to help deaf-blind people through Sense.

“Thanks to everyone who has donated, but if any Examiner readers want to donate they can do that on our web pages.”
