CAMPAIGNERS for the environment are invited to help form a group in Huddersfield to combat climate change.
People from across Kirklees are being sought to join the Huddersfield Climate Change Network.
A meeting will take place on Thursday of next weekfrom 7pm to 9pm, at the Huddersfield Methodist Mission on Lord Street.
Subjects to be discussed include forming a network and the success of a march to London held in December to press the Government for a stronger Bill on climate change.
Tim Padmore, of Friends of the Earth, was one of the march organisers.
He said: “A number of people said that they did not want the coalition to end there. This meeting is about deciding the best way to take this forward.”
