A THIEF had one thing on his mind when he raided a supermarket - chewing gum.
He stole chewing gum worth £87 from the Co-op store at Lewisham Road, Slaithwaite, at 2.30pm on Tuesday and jumped into a bronze-coloured car which drove off along Carr Lane.
He is described as white, in his early 20s and skinny with slight stubble and a shaved head. He wore a black fleece top.
