TWO masked men burst into a Birkby home and threatened four people with a gun.
The intruders used a hammer to smash part of a glass door at the house on Birkby Road at 11pm last night.
They then dropped the hammer as they went in, but held four people aged between 28 and 69 at gunpoint while one searched rooms. It is not clear what, if anything, was stolen.
