A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been seriously injured in a shooting in Leeds city centre.
The local man suffered injuries to his arm and chest when he was shot with a gun as he sat in a stationary Toyota car at the junction of Templar Place and Lady Lane.
The victim went to hospital where he remains in a serious condition. A police spokesperson said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The suspect was described as black, 18 to 24-years-old, 5ft 8in tall with a slim to medium build. He was last seen walking up Lady Lane towards Vicar Lane.
