A BETTING shop manager was robbed at gunpoint as he locked up.

The 37-year-old was pulling down the metal shutter at the Jack Pearson shop on Market Street in Milnsbridge just before 7pm last night when he became aware of a man next to him.

He looked round and saw a masked raider pointing a silver handgun towards his chest.

The robber demanded the man's bag, containing cash, and he handed it over.

The thief grabbed the bag and fled towards Bridge Croft.

His face was shrouded by a dark mask and he wore a dark fleece and dark bottoms.
