A HUDDERSFIELD woman is tackling a daredevil parachute jump for charity.
Haley Dawson, of Longwood, will be making the tandem jump from a plane with an instructor on Sunday.
The 24-year-old shop assistant is raising cash for the British Heart Foundation.
Haley said: "A lot of people in my family have suffered from heart problems.
"My grandma and two grandads died of heart attacks and my dad has been through a lot with his heart this year.
" I wanted to raise some money to help other people like them."
Haley chose to do the parachute jump at Hibaldstow airfield in north Lincolnshire - despite being afraid of heights.
She said: "I wanted to do something really big and challenging. All my family will be watching me.
"I'm not nervous yet - but I will be on the day."
Anyone who would like to sponsor Haley should phone her on 01484 643471.
