Further details on a controversial hospital shake-up plan will be revealed at a series of drop-in sessions and public meetings across Kirklees and Calderdale from next week.

There will be two large public meetings where the Right Care Right Time Right Place plan will be formally presented by local NHS bosses.

They will take place at John Smith’s Stadium, on April 18 (6pm), and North Bridge Leisure Centre, Halifax, on April 14 (6pm), following the official start of a 14-week public consultation on the plan, on March 15.

There will also be drop-in sessions where the public is invited to see the plans and talk to the doctors and NHS managers behind the proposal which could close Huddersfield’s A&E.
