A & E campaigners were praised for their show of strength at a puiblic meeting in Huddersfield.
But there was anger from many at the John Smith’s Stadium as health bosses tried to answer questions over controversial plans for future hospital care in both Huddersfield and Calderdale.
Many posted strongly-worded comments on social media.
Here's what you said:
Kevin Jebson: "From what I have seen on TV and read, the CCG sound an arrogant bunch of unelected and unaccountable so and so’s. Its depressing to think they have control over my health care, I have no confidence at all in them, yet there appears to be no avenue for people to remove them."
Loretta Spears: "To say it was sooo cold I think us “ kept out “ made enough noise to get the point across that we are not going away, standing there 2 hours lips blue feet like blocks of ice, that’s commitment to the cause I would say..."
Walter Wilkinson: "It showed the contempt they have for ordinary folk. A white coat and a stethoscope makes them feel superior."
Rosemary Robinson: "Onwards and upwards we need them out."
Nancy Woods: "What an un-democratic process! I have absolutely no confidence in the CCG - what evidence do they have to show that this change will work? It doesn’t matter how many times Steve Ollerton claims ‘lives will be saved’, if he has no evidence, it means nothing. Who does he think he is? God?"
Daniel Ward: "Lives will be lost. Who does he think he is trying to kid?"
Margaret Anne Newsome Georgiadou: "He’s under orders. We need to shaft the one(s) giving the orders now."

Julia Thomas: "Can we table a vote of no confidence? Not sure what jurisdiction we would have but we definitely have evidence!"
Christopher Dronsfield: "Wouldn’t have missed it for the world. The panel members faces said it all. They weren’t happy at all...and they deserved all that they got from those of us inside and the brilliant crowd outside who made their presence known."
Isobel Heeley: "Well done and a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all that turned up to fight for our A&E. I couldn’t be there but am deeply grateful that you could and did!!"
Ella Sugden: "Shocked at the lack of answers to very important concerns and questions. The fact that it was admitted that there is more need for services in Huddersfield as well, but they are still ploughing ahead with this purely financely/PFI driven plan."
Ann Beal: "Impressed by some thoughtful and knowledgeable questions...stunned at the inability of the panel to answer with any degree of accuracy, honesty, knowledge, compassion or indeed agreement."
Lisa Green: "So here’s my analysis of last night. The CCG sidestepped many questons, were heckled, many of them looked ridiculous & unprepared .. they were shouted down & generally shown that the people of Huddersfield DO NOT support their Plan A."
Susannah Haigh: "I’m immensly proud of every single person from last night. It brings a lump to yr throat so to speak when all of kirkless comes together and stand in unity as one voice and fights for what we all believe in and what is rightfully ours. Which is HRI."
Listen to the crowd chanting outside the meeting
Rebecca Haigh: "I thought it was shambolic, from not enough seating to the inability to answer questions. Some of the panel came across as very smug. They were either ill prepared or reluctant to answer."
Patricia Rushworth: "Angry because no questions answered but very proud of the people of Huddersfield. I so hope we can do this #handsoffhri #youregonnaneedabiggerroom #proud"
