TEENAGER Hassan Ilyas is one happy motorist!
The new driver is behind the wheel of his first car, a Toyota Starlet.
And he has met the £2,000 insurance bill by winning the Examiner's Six Days of Christmas competition.
Hassan, 18, scooped a £2,000 cash prize donated by the Examiner.
He received his prize from the newspaper's advertising manager, Tracey Lawson.
Hassan, a former student at Huddersfield Technical College, was delighted with his win.
He collected tokens printed over four weeks in the Examiner throughout November and his was the first name drawn out of the hat.
Hassan lives in Yews Hill Road, Lockwood, with his parents, four brothers and two sisters in-law.
He said: "I passed my test in October and have just bought my first car.
"I got it insured yesterday and the prize money is perfect for that.
"It could not have come at a better time and I'm delighted.
"I read the Examiner every day and enter a lot of competitions".
Readers were instructed to collect at least four tokens from a particular day.
Draws for each day's prize will be drawn throughout the week.
Tomorrow's prize is £2,000 to spend at Broadbents Euronics Centre in Swan Lane, Lockwood.
On Thursday the lucky winner will win £2,000 to spend at Thatchers Furnishings in Huddersfield.
Friday's prize is £2,000 to spend at Colne Valley Garden Centre, Milnsbridge.
And on Saturday the final prize is £2,000 to spend at Beatties department store in Kingsgate.
In addition to the main prize there are 10 runners-up prizes of £50 High Street vouchers.
They can be claimed from the Examiner Offices in Queen Street South.
