TOP model Nell McAndrew looked swell when she launched an online celebrity hat auction.

The mum-to-be has handed over two of her own pieces of headwear to be sold for the charity Debra (Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association).

Nell, who is six months pregnant and married to Huddersfield man Paul Hardcastle, urged people to support the eBay auction.

She has given a Philip Treacy hat and a Gabriela Ligenza creation.

Other items have been given by stars including Cliff Richard, Barbara Windsor, David Jason and Emma Thompson.

Nell, 32, is vice-president of Debra and befriended Jonny Kennedy, who featured in the documentary The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off, before his death in 2003 from cancer linked to epidermolysis bullosa.

She said: "I promised my friend Jonny Kennedy I would continue to support Debra whenever I could. The Celebrity Mad Hatter Auction is a great way to help."

The auction runs until May 21. Visit www.debra.org.uk and click on the Celebrity Mad Hatter eBay Auction link.
