A `UNIVERSITY' for NHS staff has been launched in Yorkshire and Humberside.
Representatives from Huddersfield University were among those at the launch in Hull.
It coincided with a conference in Hull on Partnership for Learning, attended by health and education professionals from across Yorkshire and Humberside.
The project will provide learning opportunities for health and education professionals from across the region.
They will be able to talk, listen and learn from each other and share best practice, said a spokesman.
The scheme will also offer education and training for local health and social care staff.
Julie Kilgour is regional director for NHSU, the name for the teaching project.
She said: "Through partnership working, there is a great potential for NHSU to transform learning in health and social care.
"I hope we can pass on to those joining us the enthusiasm and passion for what we in Yorkshire and Humberside believe that NHSU can bring about."
