KIRKLEES Council is offering to help to Huddersfield people become tourism entrepreneurs.
The council wants to help people who dream of setting set up bed and breakfast accommodation - or even their own campsite.
It has produced a new advice pack, called Your Tourism Business.
It covers legislation, regulations, quality standards, marketing, training and useful contacts.
Senior tourism officers Helen Rowe and Jess Clements also offer free personal advice about setting up a business.
Nicky West, of Dewsbury, benefited from the service.
She said: "I didn't know where to start.
"I was sent the advice pack and it is packed with invaluable information and contacts.
"Combined with the advice from tourism officers, I feel much closer to starting my self-catering accommodation business."
Ms Rowe said helping new businesses was vital to sustaining Kirklees' tourist industry.
It brings £285.6m a year into the area's economy and supports 7,023 full-time jobs.
