LIKE it or not, Christmas cards are already creeping on to shop shelves.

Now, Huddersfield Library is joining in by allowing Cards for Good Causes to open a card shop on the premises.

Cards for Good Causes is a non-profit organisation that sells Christmas cards in 270 outlets across the UK to raise money for various charities.

The Cards for Good Causes shop is due to open at the library on Thursday October 14 - but they are missing a vital member of staff.

A manager is needed to run the shop, which will trade six days a week from 10am to 4pm.

Jennie Bristow, of Cards for Good Causes, said: "We are now desperate to find someone to run our shop.

"It would suit parents with children at school or the retired. No experience is necessary."

The managerial post is part-time and can be shared.
