CHILDREN at Hipperholme Grammar Junior School delighted parents and grandparents with an afternoon of music and song.

The junior choir opened with an international selection – including a poem written by Robert Burns and a song about cherry blossom, performed in Japanese.

The audience was entertained by a selection of performances by pupils on piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and flute.

The performance also included a vocal duet and the recorder group and guitar ensemble.
