DISABLED people and their carers will be able to use a new holiday home from this week.
Cherry Trees, in Shepley, was due to become fully operational yesterday after completing registration with the Care Quality Commission.
Kirkburton Conservative Clr Christine Smith said: “At long last the building can be fully utilised for short breaks.”
The eight-bedroomed building is fully accessible for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities. All bedrooms are en-suite with a television, DVD player and radio. Six of the rooms have doors leading to the garden.
