Bus passengers are being called on to share their views about service changes in the Holme Valley.

Three drop-in sessions are being organised by Metro and First staff to gather feedback about improvements made to the network.

The changes, introduced last April, included faster and more direct services between Hepworth, Scholes and Holmfirth to Huddersfield.

Services also had to be cut from Huddersfield Rail station after Government funding expired, but more buses serving the Holme Valley Hospital have been added.

The Holmfirth minibus network was also revised to offer more frequent buses between Brockholes and Thongsbridge to Holmfirth. A more direct service between Holmfirth, Meltham and Slaithwaite was also added, along with a new service for Hade Edge and Sheffield Road.

People will be able to meet with First and Metro staff from 10am to 2pm at Morrisons on Station Street, Meltham, on September 6 and at Holmfirth Library and Information Centre on September 12.

There will also be a third meeting at Honley Library on September 16 between 2pm and 6pm.
