A YOUNG soccer international from Huddersfield has shown he can also shine in the classroom.
Fraizer Campbell, 16, of Almondbury, is already making a name for himself as a player with Manchester United and England.
But now the Huddersfield Grammar School student is celebrating another triumph - nine exam successes.
Fraizer joined other teenagers at the school celebrating their GCSE results. He got an A* in PE and Bs and Cs in another eight subjects.
Dad Keith said: "He has done very well, considering all the work he has had to put in for the football as well as his schoolwork.
"He has to travel to Manchester three or four times a week and has also been on tour with England several times in the past year.
"He has done a shedload of hard work and we are all very proud," he added.
Fraizer lives with his dad, mum Bernadette and brother Ashford, 12, who is also a student at Huddersfield Grammar School.
Fraizer's PE teacher, Tess Wilkinson, said: "He has done absolutely superbly in his exams.
" It has been very hard work, fitting in the studies and course work with his football commitments.
"The school is very proud of Fraizer," she added.
