POLICE investigating the murder of Pc Sharon Beshenivsky have been searching a house in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police said a house in the Harehills area was searched last night in connection with the shooting of the 38-year-old Bradford policewoman in November.
It is understood that no arrests were made at the house.
Meanwhile, last night detectives were given more time to question four men arrested this week in connection with the murder.
Three 24-year-old men were arrested in London on Wednesday night in a joint operation with the Metropolitan Police and a man aged 32 was arrested in Leicestershire.
All four were taken to West Yorkshire for questioning.
Police obtained a warrant of further detention from magistrates yesterday in order to continue questioning the men.
Detectives are continuing to search for 25-year-old Mustaf Jama, who is wanted in connection with Pc Beshenivsky's shooting.
Pc Beshenivsky, who had three children and two stepchildren, was gunned down on November 18.
She was responding to an alarm call at a Bradford city centre travel agent's.
Her colleague, Pc Teresa Milburn, was seriously injured in the same incident.
Two men have already appeared in court, charged with Pc Beshenivsky's murder.
Last month, hundreds of police lined the streets of Bradford for Pc Beshenivsky's funeral service, which took place at the city's cathedral.
