We all know Huddersfield has changed - but just how much?

Our previous gallery of images  showed us that the town centre has undergone massive changes in the last 100 years.

But so have the suburbs and areas where all live across Huddersfield.

Now in the latest set of images from the Britain From Above project, this time from 1937, you can see how many other areas of Huddersfield have changed.

Britain From Above  aims to conserve 95,000 of the oldest and most valuable pictures in the Aerofilms collection, those dating from 1919 to 1953.

There are hundreds of images in the archive showing how our town used to look as well as shots of Brighouse, Dewsbury and all across the country.
