TWO Huddersfield businesses have been nominated for tourism awards.

Hinchliffe’s Farm at Netherton and Crow Hill Country House Estate at Marsden have been nominated for White Rose Awards.

The annual awards highlight Yorkshire’s top tourism attractions, hotels and venues across 16 categories.

Hinchliffe’s has been nominated in the Taste of Yorkshire category while Crow Hill will battle for the top prize in the Self Catering category.

Other nearby attractions nominated include Cannon Hall Farm at Cawthorne in the Best Tourism Experience category and Wakefield’s Yorkshire Sculpture Park in the Business Tourism Category.

Last year’s ceremony attracted a sell-out of 1,000 guests, making it the biggest tourism awards in the UK.

The White Rose Awards will be held on Monday, October 10, at Doncaster Racecourse.www.whiteroseawards.com
