This year, there will be four different age categories: 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-36 months and 3-5 years.
All of the photos will then be printed in two special supplements (September 24 and 25).
Readers will vote via phone and text to find the top 10 from The Examiner will then feature the top 40 babies in a special spread on October 10 and readers will vote again.
We'll have a winner from each category and the baby or toddler with the most votes overall will be crowned our Examiner Baby of the Year 2013.
Natasha Maskery, the Examiner's Senior Brand Executive said: "The Examiner's Baby of the Year competition has a long and proud tradition with us.
"We have been crowning babies since 1973 and the competition never seems to go out of fashion.
"It's lovely to feature the next generation in the newspaper and a lovely keepsake for parents.
"It's so magical when parents are told their child has won."
The winners will receive a special canvas of their winning picture with our overall winner taking home our historic engraved trophy for the year.
Entry forms with terms and conditions will be printed in the Examiner from Monday, August 12 or download and print out the entry form here.
