The new Huddersfield Leisure Centre will open its doors next week.

After almost a decade of planning, the £36m centre will replace the old sports centre off Leeds Road, which will close for good on Friday, May 15.

Huddersfield Leisure Centre opens at 6.30am on Monday May 18.

Swimming and fitness suites will open at 6.30am before other facilities are opened to the public at 9am.
