A PINK theme will take over at Huddersfield Sports Centre as staff and customers bid to raise cash to help fight breast cancer.
People taking part in classes next week will be asked to wear something pink to help boost awareness of Pink Week.
In addition to the usual class timetable, extra fundraising fitness events will include a massive Zumba class on Tuesday evening between 7.30pm and 9pm and and a whole pool aquafit session on Wednesday.
Home-made buns and cakes will be on sale all week along with a raffle.
Organiser, Rhianna Sykes, said: “Everyone’s lives are affected somehow by breast cancer, so we are keen to support Pink Week for the Breast Cancer Campaign to raise more money for them and also remind people how important it is to make regular checks.
“All week, our staff will be working in silly pink outfits and we would ask our customers to join in the spirit by wearing pink. We are hoping for at least 200 people to come to the massive Zumba event in the sports hall, which includes the exciting demonstration show. And why not join in the whole pool Aquafit session in pink if you have a pink cossie or hat!”
