AN architecture student in Huddersfield has won an award for his vision of a dream home.
William Howard, 18, (right) won the Hogg The Builder Award at the York College Construction Awards.
Students were given free rein to design a dream home which had to include four bedrooms and living space.
William's design was described by judges as "imaginative, beautifully drawn and liveable".
William is studying for a degree in architecture at Huddersfield University.
He lives at the Storthes Hall student village, but hails from Clifton, York.
William gained a national diploma in construction at York College.
He said: "I was shocked to win the award, but it's great. I've always enjoyed designing things and really like modern architecture."
William received his award from Geoff Scott, managing director of York-based housebuilder Hogg The Builder.
