THREE teenagers have appeared in court accused of affray in Huddersfield town centre.

Salman Khan, 18, and two 17-year-olds who cannot be named, were before magistrates yesterday.

They are jointly accused of using or threatening unlawful violence towards another.

The alleged incident took place in John William Street on March 7. Khan, of Heathdale Avenue in Fixby, is also accused of possessing a knuckle duster which is an offensive weapon.

Magistrates committed their case to Bradford Crown Court for trial.

They will next appear before the court on October 25.

They were granted unconditional bail.

l A fourth man also appeared before Huddersfield magistrates accused of being part of the same incident.

Mark Johnson, of Top Of The Hill, at Thurstonland, was bailed to appear before Bradford Crown Court on November 3.

The 30-year-old was also given unconditional bail.
