TIPS in Kirklees are extending their opening hours as the days get longer.
Household waste and recycling centres will move to summer opening hours from Monday, March 28.
The tips will be open from 8am to 5pm on weekdays; 8am to 4pm on Saturdays and 9am to 4pm on Sundays.
Kirklees runs waste centres at Emerald Street in the town centre; Bent Ley Road in Meltham; Bromley Farm in Upper Cumberworth; Weaving Lane in Dewsbury and Nab Lane in Birstall.
The sites can be used to recycle glass, paper, cardboard, books, drink cartons, plastic and metal containers; old clothing and footwear, garden waste, batteries, engine oil; metal, paint, and electrical and white goods such as washers and cookers.
