TOWN players have given their backing to a Huddersfield charity.

The entire first team squad, including manager Simon Grayson and Club Ambassador Andy Booth, lent its support to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice at Brackenhall.

The squad visited Russell House, which is due to open later this year, to learn more about what the hospice does, its new facility and how much it needs to raise on its own to keep running.

Andy Booth said: “ I think I speak for the entire squad when I say that the visit to the Russell House Hospice was a real eye-opener, but really enjoyable at the same time.

“It really brought home how important the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is to affected families”.
