A HUDDERSFIELD student last night came face to face with Lord Alan Sugar on TV.

Andrew Tindall made his first appearance in Young Apprentice and worked on a rags to riches project.

The enterprising Greenhead College student had to roll up his tailored sleeves and embark upon sifting through a mountain of other people’s cast-offs in the search for something special.

Andrew, 16, a former Salendine Nook High School pupil, had to clean and customise clothing and make money from it.

He was on the losing team, Odyssey, but was saved from being fired after selling the most at a car boot sale.

Andrew is battling it out to win a £25,000 fund from Lord Sugar to kick-start his business career.

He is currently studying for A-levels but started making money as a 10-year-old by selling greeting cards.
