Every step mattered.
For the hundreds of people who took part in the Kirklees Memory Walk, they helped change the lives of people affected by dementia – now and in the future.
The special walk took place at Greenhead Park in Huddersfield on Saturday.
Dementia Action Alliance co-ordinator Elaine Bostock said: “Memory walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia.
“Ours was a sell-out event and thousands of pounds has been raised for the Alzheimers Society.
“It was a wonderful event and went very well indeed.”
