THE search is on for Huddersfield’s poetry champion.
The winner will represent the town in the National Poetry Anthology.
This is a competition designed to encourage new writers and the town’s winner will receive a copy of the book.
There’s also the chance to bag the £1,000 prize as overall winner of the country-wide competition.
If you’re a budding Byron or Burns send three unpublished poems on any subject (up to 20 lines and 160 words each) to United Press, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB.
