CELEBRITY star Mark Wright is heading to town.

The Only Way Is Essex personality – who finished runner-up in this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get me Out Of Here TV show – will be in Huddersfield on December 17.

He will be making a guest appearance at the Sin nightclub, which has opened in the former Livingstones club in Queensgate.

Adam Sutcliffe, who is arranging Wright’s visit to Huddersfield, said: “It is really great news.

“Mark is contracted to ITV, who made the show, until December 9 so this will be one of his first appearances in the UK after that.”

Wright was the bookies’ favourite to win the Celebrity show from deep in the Australian rainforest, but lost out in the final to McFly bass player Dougie Poynter.

But after 22 days together in the jungle he and Wright, both 24, left as firm friends, with Essex-boy Wright declaring: “There couldn’t be a better winner than this man here. He deserves it so much, he is the nicest guy in the whole world.”

Bookmakers William Hill had installed Wright as the 2/5 odds-on favourite to claim victory, with Poynter the 15/8 outsider.

After the result, Wright told presenters Ant and Dec: “When he was in the other camp, I was like, ’I want Dougie back in the camp’.”

But the TOWIE personality did hint there might be a future for him and model Emily Scott, who shared steamy moments in the jungle.

“Emily is a very good-looking girl and a lovely girl to be around,” he said. “We will see when I get out, she is a nice girl.”

And when asked if his invitation to her to visit Essex still stands, he said: “She can come to Essex, we can hang out, everyone can come to Essex.”
