Police have named the 12-year-old boy who was swept out to sea in Anglesey on Friday.

Kirkburton Middle School pupil Isaac Nash was on holiday when he went missing at Aberffraw on Friday lunchtime .

He was reportedly with members of his family who became stuck on rocks in the estuary.

Coastguard rescue teams, RNLI lifeboats, a RAF rescue helicopter and police were involved in the initial search for the youngster , who plays cricket for Kirkburton U13s, which continued today.

On Saturday a spokeswoman for North Wales Police said: "Three lifeboats were launched this morning and continue to search the area whilst being supported by the police helicopter.

"Officers have been patrolling the shoreline, along with family members and local volunteers wishing to help.

"Further specialist support from the police underwater search team will provide assistance during this afternoon.

"Isaac, who is from the Huddersfield area, was on holiday with his family at the time of the incident."
