North Wales Police say the search is continuing for Huddersfield youngster Isaac Nash who was swept out to sea on Friday lunchtime.

The 12-year-old from Highburton was on a family holiday when disaster struck off an Anglesey beach.

Despite valiant efforts by his father Adam and grandfather Paul to save him they were ultimately to no avail.

A special lantern service in memory of Isaac was held at Highburton Recreation Ground on Monday night and attended by hundreds of people.

A North Wales spokesman said: "The search is continuing today and the situation will be reviewed tomorrow with a view to how we proceed."

Meanwhile the devastated Nash family have set up The Isaac Nash Trust, (TINT), in order to raise money for skateboard and scooter facilities near Isaac's home.

The family say they are grateful for the huge number of comforting messages left on their Facebook sites.
