CONGESTION-busting Highways Agency Traffic Officers met members of the public today.
They were at Ferrybridge Services, at junction 33 of the M62 near Pontefract, to promote safe winter driving.
The Yorkshire Traffic Officers, who have been patrolling the county's motorways since September 2005, were on hand to show what their uniform and vehicle look like, and their roles and responsibilities.
They gave advice on driving in winter conditions and planning a journey.
