FAIR trade group Fairandfunky will be hosting two workshops on making toys from things people throw away.

The Holmfirth-based firm holds its Scraptastic Easter workshops for children of all ages at Holmfirth Parish Church, tomorrow and April 10 at 2pm.

Fairandfunky co-founder Helen Robinson said: “Our workshops are great for the environment – and for the imagination.

“We only use recycled materials. Everyone is guaranteed to leave with a handful of Scraptastic creations and a smile on their face.”

The workshops follow on from the popular February scrap workshops.

Eight-year-old Ciara Tweedale from Slaithwaite, said: “It was great fun making my owl and the egg box with Fairandfunky.”
